The Finance Lesson is a national train the trainers project that aims to support and promote the in-class practice of financial literacy in middle school, by preparing teachers to teach the key skills needed for the financial independence and inclusion of the younger generation. The project is developed with the support of Mastercard®.


PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

The aim of the project is to develop the necessary skills to integrate and teach, in an interdisciplinary and hybrid learning approach, a series of financial elements and concepts for the education of students aged 11 to 15. The main objective of the program is to promote financial education in Romanian schools and thus increase the level of financial education at national level.


EDUCATIONAL OFFER

The project includes the following components:

  • Train the Trainers and Multiplication, carried out in a hybrid system and supported by accredited trainers and teachers involved in the program, includes didactic modules for the integration of financial concepts in an interdisciplinary format.
  • Teaching & Learning, featuring in-class financial education lessons taught by teachers trained in the program, and an online hackathon for teachers to share experiences and encourage creative approaches in teaching financial education.
  • Benefit includes free access to financial education resources available on the www.lectiadefinante.jaromania.org online platform.
